Nancy Reece serves as Senior Advisor to The Human Capital Group, providing internal consulting and coaching services. She has been privileged to serve a variety of great organizations, including Ingram Content Group, The Biltmore Company, Ingram Barge, BMI, SVP Worldwide, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, Gaylord Opryland, Safe Place Services, Second Harvest Food Bank, and YMCA of the USA.
Nancy has significant leadership experience, including her service as a program mentor for the Bush Institute 2013 Women’s Fellowship Initiative. She was also the first woman board chair elected for the Association of YMCA Professionals in 130 years. Before joining The Human Capital Group, she served as National Management Consultant for YMCA of the USA, working with boards and local YMCAs, and helping to oversee leadership development for one-quarter of YMCA organizations in the United States. Other roles Nancy had in the YMCA organization include Senior Vice President of Leadership Development for the YMCA of Middle Tennessee and Executive Director of the New City YMCA Family Activity Center serving the Cabrini Green Housing Project in Chicago.
Nancy has also served in additional leadership roles in the community, including her role as founder of the Pastors Leadership Academy and as Chair of the Board of Directors at Mercy Community Healthcare.
Nancy teaches as a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Lipscomb University Graduate College of Business. Other roles have included her work as Integrity First Columnist for the Nashville Business Journal. A certified emotional intelligence and executive development coach, she earned her BS degree from the University of Evansville and her MS degree from Indiana University.
